Little is known just about this saint. Her page was at Neocaesarea inside Pontus and during a Diocletian persecution, Macrina supposedly fled by having her married man to the shores of the Black Sea. She was widowed & is a patron of widow woman & the patron against poorness. Her feast is celebrated in 14 January.
